HUI is looking for the right person to Help Us Grow Position Summary The IT Technician's role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks.
Responsibilities This position's duties include but are not limited to:
Promote cross-team relationships with other team members to facilitate timely responses and resolutions Be responsible for reviewing service desk ticket queues, documenting support, diagnostic activities, and escalating issues as required Serve as the primary point of contact for IT by responding to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support Alert team to emerging trends in incidents Monitor progress and keep customers informed while providing excellent customer service Provide general support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, handheld scanners, and peripheral devices Be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation Provide detailed personal advice and guidance to all users in the effective use of systems, products, and services available to them Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Performs other related duties assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of Windows operating systems Experience with ERP systems (preferably TCM / RB-ERP) Computer hardware technical aptitude Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to customer satisfaction Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Desire to take risks, be flexible, learn, and grow both personally and professionally.
Ability to problem solve and implement new ideas.
Education/Training Associates degree with emphasis in information systems preferred 1-2
